By using LibStop, you agree to these terms.
The service
LibStop is a free tool that analyzes library catalog exports and suggests areas for review. We may change, pause or end features at any time, and will try to give notice before ending the service.
Your responsibilities
- Only upload catalog data you're allowed to share under your school or district's policies.
- Don't upload student or patron information on purpose. We remove what we detect, but you know your data best.
- Don't misuse the service, such as trying to access other people's reports or overloading the site.
Suggestions are suggestions
Reports, flags and weeding suggestions are generated automatically from your data and common guidelines. They can be wrong. They're meant to support a librarian's professional judgment, not replace it, and decisions about your collection are yours.
Your data
You keep ownership of the data you upload. We use it only to produce your reports and run the service, as described in the privacy policy.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, LibStop isn't liable for decisions made using its reports or for any loss of data.
